Quiz of the day
Ten questions, the same for every traveller today. A new quiz arrives at midnight.
Your passport: the last four weeks
Each quiz of the day you finish leaves a stamp on its date.
How the quiz of the day works
Every day brings ten questions on the whole world, in a fixed order: find a country, name a highlighted one, a capital, a flag and a size duel, then the same five kinds again, with the capital and flag questions turned the other way round. No country appears twice in the same day.
Difficulty is tied to the weekday: Mondays and Tuesdays are gentle, Wednesdays and Thursdays sit in the middle, and the last three days of the week are tough. The number after the hash counts the days since the first quiz on 1 January 2026.
Your first try of the day is the one that counts for the streak. Once it is done, opening the page shows today’s result; playing it again is practice and leaves your statistics alone. Miss a day and the streak starts again from one.
Keeping the streak alive
- Play at the same moment each day, with the morning coffee or on the way home. A daily habit is easier to keep than a daily resolution.
- Use the mistakes list at the end. It shows the flag of every country you missed and the answer you gave.
- When the weekend gets hard, try the same continent in the naming mode on Medium before Sunday’s quiz.
