Three legs, 10 questions, 10 countries of Oceania: that is expedition #1022, flown at the Medium level. First Capitals (3 questions), then Flags (3 questions), and to finish Find the country (4 questions).
- The capitals leg turns things round: 3 capitals, and you name the country of each.
- The flags leg alternates between naming a flag and picking one: 3 questions and 5 different flags.
- In the map leg you tap 4 countries; a miss shows the right one and how far away you were.
The Medium setting widens the pool and keeps the wrong answers on the same continent: neighbours are not far away.
The full route, drawn from capital to capital as the questions come, measures 32,710 km: 9 hops in all.
Tips from the window seat
- Capitals: If two cities sound right, think of which country each one belongs to.
- Flags: Read each flag from the pole side; order matters.
- Find the country: Zoom in for the small ones; at the full view a few countries are only a dot.
After the landing
