Three legs, 15 questions, 10 countries of North and Central America: that is expedition #1086, flown at the Easy level. First Capitals (4 questions), then Find the country (5 questions), and to finish Flags (6 questions).
- The capitals leg turns things round: 4 capitals, and you name the country of each.
- In the map leg you tap 5 countries; a miss shows the right one and how far away you were.
- The flags leg alternates between naming a flag and picking one: 6 questions and 12 different flags.
Easy means the questions come from the best-known countries of the region, and wrong options from other parts of the world, so most of them can be ruled out at a glance.
If you joined the stops capital to capital, in the order the questions bring them, the dashed line would be 13,580 km long, with 9 hops between 10 stops.
Tips from the window seat
- Capitals: Say the pair in both directions in your head after each answer.
- Find the country: Zoom in for the small ones; at the full view a few countries are only a dot.
- Flags: Plain tricolours are the hardest; check the colour of the middle band.
After the landing
Finish the third leg and the expedition is stamped in your passport; the button for expedition #1087 appears right under the quiz.
