This trip through North and Central America is set at Easy. The 15 questions come in three legs — Flags (5 questions), then Find the country (5 questions), then Capitals (5 questions) — and visit 11 countries in all.
- The flags leg shows 5 flags and asks for their countries; 5 different flags pass in front of you.
- In the map leg you tap 5 countries; a miss shows the right one and how far away you were.
- The capitals leg alternates: 5 questions, country to capital and back again.
Easy means the questions come from the best-known countries of the region, and wrong options from other parts of the world, so most of them can be ruled out at a glance.
If you joined the stops capital to capital, in the order the questions bring them, the dashed line would be 18,520 km long, with 10 hops between 11 stops.
Tips from the window seat
- Flags: Read each flag from the pole side; order matters.
- Find the country: Zoom in for the small ones; at the full view a few countries are only a dot.
- Capitals: If two cities sound right, think of which country each one belongs to.
After the landing
Finish the third leg and the expedition is stamped in your passport; the button for expedition #1150 appears right under the quiz.
