Three legs, 15 questions, 15 countries of Africa: that is expedition #1126, flown at the Hard level. First Capitals (4 questions), then Name the country (5 questions), and to finish Find the country (6 questions).
- The capitals leg turns things round: 4 capitals, and you name the country of each.
- In the naming leg 5 countries light up on the map and you choose each name from four.
- In the map leg you tap 6 countries; a miss shows the right one and how far away you were.
At the Hard level the obvious countries are left out and the wrong options are close neighbours of the right one, or, for flags, the closest look-alikes.
Capital to capital, in question order, the route covers 48,810 km over 14 hops.
Tips from the window seat
- Capitals: Capitals that are not the largest city are the classic trap.
- Name the country: Count the neighbours you recognise around the yellow shape.
- Find the country: Before tapping, find a neighbour you are sure of and work from there.
After the landing
Finish the third leg and the expedition is stamped in your passport; the button for expedition #1127 appears right under the quiz.
